ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME
I spent roughly 25 years in the extremely fast paced and competitive magazine publishing industry; specifically in advertising sales where I served as Associate Publisher at several top publications. Over the years, I led record breaking sales teams, built brand equity and developed multi-platform sales initiatives. One of the greatest rewards of my career was being able to empower and inspire sellers to be the best they could be. I left the business to spend time with my family and to share my breakthrough motivational platform, RELAX. SET. GO., with everyone who wants to stress less and achieve more. It only takes a minute and it works! Are you ready?

INTERESTS
Other people. I love hearing how people are reconnecting with themselves and to a higher order. We're in a time where slowing down and taking inventory of your life is more important than ever, so spirituality and appreciation are of great interest to me. I am fascinated by people who take risks and who create their own success. Other interests include:  inventing new products (on my to-produce, to-do list), creative writing, running, politics, a good debate, learning html and other digital languages (I'm working on it) and watching my young son discover everything about the world around him.

FAVORITE MOVIES
The Family Stone, Days Of Heaven, In America, Blowout, Anything Stanley Kubrick, North by Northwest, Heavenly Creatures, Body Heat, The Big Chill, A Perfect World, Nightshift, Fletch, Animal House, No Way Out, Rushmore, Overboard, anything with Jeff Bridges, Seven Pounds, Mean Streets, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Michael, The John Hughes classics, Almost Famous, High Fidelity, About a Boy, The Sixth Sense, Jerry Maquire, The Holiday, The Terminator . . . too many more to mention.

FAVORITE MUSIC
James Taylor, Elton John, Peter Frampton, Queen, Yes, Led Zepplin, Neil Young, Jorma, Springsteen, Simon and Garfunkle, Morrisey, Peter Gabriel, Roxy Music, U2, Cold Play (need to introduce myself to some new artists). One of my favorite music memories was listening to The Carpenters Greatest Hits because it reminds me of the road trip I took from Monte Carlo to Rome and back with my best friend. We had the roof to her convertible down the whole way and sang those cheesy songs at the top of our lungs. So much fun but definitely not the best picture of Americans in Europe!

FAVORITE BOOKS
The Greatest Salesman in the World, The House of the Spirits, The Fountainhead, anything by John Irving (my favorite author), Coma, A Map of the World, Cold Mountain, White Oleander, The Stand, The Dead Zone, The Alientist, The Kite Runner, The Witching Hour, The Thornbirds, Cane and Abel, The Bourne Identity, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Predjudice, Endless Love, Birdy, The Count of Monte Cristo, Three Cups of Tea.

Cheers,
